Food Sustainability
YouthBuild students work in their community to create and GROW sustainable food sources. Come GROW with us today.
Youth Leadership
YouthBuild students participate in youth policy initiatives, field trips and forums to help develop leadership skills.
Volunteers
YouthBuild students lend helping hands to give back to their community through acts of kindness and volunteerism.
Affordable Housing
YouthBuild students work in the community to help rehabilitate homes to create affordable housing opportunities.
WHAT WE DO WELL... DEVELOP YOUNG LEADERS
Build Young Leaders
Students at YouthBuild meet with community leaders to address issues facing young adults such as legal matters, homelessness, crime and etc. to ensure they represent their communities.
Provide Opportunity For Success
Students at YouthBuild earn $$$ stipends to develop soft skills that are needed in the the workplace. Soft skills such as dressing for success, effective communication, dependability, teamwork, self-confidence, and adaptability are critical skills needed in the workforce.
Develop Career Pathways
Students at YouthBuild explore career pathways and use hands on training in construction and healthcare to develop functional job skills needed in the workforce.
