ROSS Service Coordinator
The Resident Opportunity and Support Services (ROSS) Coordinator reports to the Resident Services Manager and is responsible for the the coordination of services and activities under the Authority’s Resident Opportunity and Supportive Services (ROSS) grant including both elderly and family supportive services defined in the grant plan as well as the planning and implementation of programs and initiatives. Work assignments are received in the form of broad objectives and performance expectations with minimal direction in day-to-day operations. This position is only for the duration of the ROSS Grant.
Property Manager - Southside Homes
This is highly responsible management work related to the Authority’s property management function. The incumbent is responsible for the management of all activities related to the management and maintenance of their assigned property. Reporting to the Property Management Director, this position is responsible for eligibility, leasing, continued occupancy, lease enforcement, eviction, maintenance, grounds care, and the general appearance and functionality of their property. The incumbent is also responsible for the financial performance of their assigned property. Work assignments are received in the form of broad objectives and performance expectations with minimal direction in day-to-day operations. This position may supervise administrative and/or maintenance employees.
Accountant (AP)
This is moderately responsible accounting work related to the Authority’s accounting and financial reporting function. The incumbent is responsible for supporting the Accounting Manager in activities related to accounting and financial reporting for the Asset Management Projects (AMPs), Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) Properties, and the Central Office Cost Center (COCC). Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position may be responsible for the maintenance and reporting of the Accounts Payable function. Work assignments are received in the form of specific objectives and performance expectations with minimal direction in day-to-day operations. Duties may be assigned to multiple employees and divided based upon the requirements for separation of duties.
Housing Specialist I (Section 8)
The Housing Specialist reports directly to the Senior Housing Specialist and is responsible for work related to the Authority’s Section 8 voucher management function. The incumbent is responsible for the management of activities related to the Section 8 program including tenant eligibility, leasing, continued occupancy, termination, and inspection of all participants and properties in the program. The incumbent is also responsible for the programmatic performance of their assigned allocation of vouchers. Work assignments are received in the form of broad objectives and performance expectations with minimal direction in day-to-day operations.
Housing Specialist II (Section 8)
The Housing Specialist reports directly to the Senior Housing Specialist and is responsible for work related to the Authority’s Section 8 voucher management function. Maintenance Mechanic
The Maintenance Mechanic performs a variety of commercial repair and maintenance activities, to include electrical systems and appliances, plumbing, and heating/air conditioning systems. Work also scheduling and coordinating follow up work, maintaining supply inventories. Employees in this job class commonly use tools such as wrenches, screw drivers, ladders, and multimeters to complete their daily tasks. Work assignments are received through work orders, observation, meetings, and verbally. Work may be reviewed for fulfillment of program objectives and for conformance with policy and practice
